Winter Golf Escapes ⛳

Another golf season has come and gone, leaving many of us yearning for warmer destinations to feed our golf cravings during the winter. It might seem a bit early to start planning golf trips, but is it ever too soon to talk about golf?

In today's newsletter, we're diving into the memorable golf trips I've taken in the past, and I'm excited to share some places that are a must-visit for every golfer. Also, looking ahead to the winter of 2024-25, I'm planning traveling golf schools and trips. If this piques your interest, please let me know by filling out this quick form!

Palm Desert, California

Palm Desert truly comes alive during the winter months, offering fantastic weather for golf. While some of the private courses may be a challenge to access, there's an abundance of public and semi-private courses that make it a golfer's paradise.

Litchfield Park, AZ

Litchfield Park, situated on the west end of Phoenix, is home to some excellent golf courses. For the past three years, I've had the privilege of coaching a group of golfers in this area, with our base at Wigwam. We've enjoyed the experience tremendously, and there's no shortage of courses to explore.

Port St. Lucie, Florida

In 2021, I had the incredible opportunity to qualify for the PGA National Club Professional Championship hosted at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie. The year before the championship, I visited to play in their winter series of professional tournaments and had a blast. PGA Golf Club boasts three championship-style courses that will test your golfing skills. But be forewarned, Florida golf is challenging!

Questions from my Wife Who Doesn’t Golf

👩 Wife: Why do golf courses have frost delays?

🏌️‍♂️ Me: Golf courses implement frost delays due to the meticulous care and sensitivity of their grass. Walking on frost-covered grass can damage the grass blades, resulting in unsightly turf and, in extreme cases, permanent damage
